# Recommendation-letter plan

No one is represented here as committed. Confirm willingness and the correct
contact information privately before entering a name in an application.

| Candidate relationship | Evidence they could credibly discuss | Priority |
|---|---|---|
| Recent technical client or research lead | Independence, delivery, validation, current technical depth | 1 |
| Former engineering manager in computer vision | Production algorithms, collaboration, real-world constraints | 1 |
| Georgia Tech professor or academic supervisor | Quantitative preparation, research/teaching potential | 1 |
| Teaching supervisor or colleague | Communication, mentoring, classroom effectiveness | 2 |
| Civil/hydrology collaborator established during preparation | Readiness for the new domain; only after substantive work | 2 |

Send each recommender: CV, transcript, research one-pager, program list and
deadlines, draft SOP, 5–8 factual reminders of shared work, and clear submission
instructions. Ask whether they can write a **strong, specific** letter. Waive
access when appropriate, give at least four weeks, and provide a graceful opt-out.
